Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive for the Indoor Climate Control – Residential Market. This role will be instrumental in growing our ventilation business through engagement with developers and key public and private sector stakeholders.

You will be responsible for building new business opportunities and enhancing relationships with existing clients. This includes collaborating closely with internal sales and technical teams to deliver tailored, high-performance ventilation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships with developer and public and private estate holders
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the residential ventilation sector.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align go-to-market strategies and deliver technical support.
  • Actively influence specifications with M&E consultants, developers to ensure Versatile’s Residential ventilation solutions are preferred early in project lifecycles.
  • Develop and manage a structured sales pipeline using CRM tools; track leads from initial contact through to project completion and after-sales support.
  • Work with internal teams to prepare compelling proposals and responses to tenders, including technical documentation, pricing, and compliance.
  • Maintain involvement through the project delivery process, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling or follow-on business.
  • Represent Versatile at trade shows, industry conferences, CPD events, and networking forums to enhance brand visibility and gather market intelligence.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Engineering or Building Services qualification is a strong advantage.
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in construction or HVAC industry.
  • Proven experience in business development within commercial or domestic ventilation is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and reporting skills.
  • Demonstrated success in creating and implementing effective sales strategies.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
