This is an exciting opportunity to join our expert team and contribute to innovative, sustainable HVAC solutions across commercial and public sector projects. Role Overview We are seeking a Strategic Sales Business Development Manager to drive new business and strengthen existing relationships within the ventilation sector. This is a pivotal role involving direct engagement with M&E consultants, developers, contractors, and internal sales and technical teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development within the construction or HVAC industry, with excellent communication, presentation, and strategic planning skills. Key Responsibilities Deliver CPD presentations to M&E consultants and engineering firms. Engage with consulting engineers and developers to specify Versatile’s ventilation solutions. Conduct profit & loss analysis to assess product viability and market positioning. Contribute to sales strategy development, particularly for new product lines. Monitor and analyse technical trends and market developments. Develop and nurture relationships with existing clients (consultants and contractors) while identifying and securing new business opportunities. Collaborate closely with internal sales and technical teams to ensure aligned go-to-market strategies. Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions. Qualifications & Requirements Engineering or Building Services qualification (advantageous). Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in the construction or HVAC industry. Experience in a business development role within the commercial or domestic ventilation market is highly desirable. Strong presentation, reporting, and communication skills. Proven ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies. Must be resident in Ireland and flexible to travel (primarily Dublin, with national coverage as needed). Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working both independently and within a team.
