Home > Case Studies > Dublin Airport Terminal 2 Dublin Airport Terminal 2 Client Dublin Airport Authority Construction Engineer Arup Contractor Mercury The Challenge We had to create a comfortable, yet robust working environment for the baggage handling team. With no wall space available, energy efficiency was essential. Our primary requirement was to keep the baggage handlers warm but we were competing with a massive volume of space, trying to minimise spillage of heat into zones, and a stream of traffic loading through constantly opening and closing cargo doors. The Solution We supplied ZBN Radiant Panels and Carboline Panels that heat the surfaces, not the air. Connection points were put in to suit long RCP runs of 120m for 1 flow + return.
