The new wing is one of the Ireland’s design-led, Pod-build modular structures. The new pod build 5-floor, 72 modular ward extension required a comfortable indoor climate for both hospital staff & patients.
The Challenge
Supplying an indoor climate control product that would work effectively in this modular space-saving solution. Providing an energy efficient & quick to install solution, in order to cope up with the rapid build program of this project.
The Solution
Versatile provided Carboline radiant panels for the entire project & a radiant controlled system which included a Black Bulb sensor & a digital controller.
These energy efficient radiant panels can provide both heating & cooling solutions, saving more than 40% energy in comparison to other radiant systems.
