This was a heating solution that also required pre tempered ventilation through the Jaga trench ducting. The special depth that we provided was required in order to achieve the specified outputs necessary to heat each zone, this would not have been possible using standard trench units due to lack of the “stack effect”.

The Challenge

To facilitate the extra outputs required on this project the Jaga trench had insulated baffles placed alongside the treated heat exchanger. The extra depth within the Jaga ducts allowed for the introduction of ventilation through the trench into each room, this fresh air was pre tempered by the treated corrugated aluminium heat exchangers.

The finished look was very important to the Architect from an aesthetic point of view and we supplied Jaga Trench grilles, Aluminium Natural Oak to give a modern and yet rustic finish to some areas, while in other areas the Architect required a sharp modern finish with the use of Designo ridged aluminium grilles.

The Solution

Many challenges were experienced throughout this project as special angles, precision length pieces and bespoke wall to wall trench with special continuous angular joins were required, all this combined made this a challenging project but one that we take pride in.

Versatile as always rose to the challenge that this project presented, and continually strive to meet with our clients requests; no matter how large or small we will always have a heating solution.
